Dr. Berman is a homegrown Charlottean who graduated from Providence High school and lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, all of his life. He stayed nearby for college, graduating from the University of South Carolina. He moved away while attending the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and found his college basketball fandom severely questioned during his tenure there. His education at Kentucky included exceptional experience with digital dentistry, which has prepared him to practice with the advanced technology used at SmileCharlotte.

Dr. Berman has been around SmileCharlotte his entire life, evolving from a patient to an employee and now, excitedly, an associate. He is committed to maintaining the excellent care and environment that SmileCharlotte has built and could not be happier to join the team.

Dr. Berman is a passionate sports enthusiast, especially devoted to the Miami Dolphins and Tottenham Hotspur. He enjoys playing tennis, soccer, basketball, and swimming. He will talk your ear off about history, movies, and jazz. He moved back to Charlotte with his beagle Ryder and his cat Jazz and is eager to get involved in the SmileCharlotte community. Dr. Berman is always accepting new patients and welcomes the opportunity to meet you.
